Privacy at LinkIntoQR

URLs and QR images

The URL you enter is converted into a QR code in your browser. We do not fetch that destination or send your URL or generated images to our servers. When someone scans the code, their device opens the destination website, which has its own privacy practices.

What this browser remembers

After a successful generation without a logo, LinkIntoQR saves the latest URL, appearance and PNG and SVG images in one local storage entry. A new successful code replaces it. Use Clear saved code below the generator to remove it, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Browser storage is specific to your browser and device. Anyone using the same browser profile may see the saved code. If storage is blocked or full, you can still generate and download QR codes.

Uploaded logos

JPEG and PNG logos are decoded and re-encoded locally. Logos and QR codes containing them stay in memory only and disappear when you refresh or close the page. No logo is uploaded to a server. Successfully generating a logo QR also removes the previously saved code. Download your logo QR before leaving.

Site analytics and hosting

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits to this site, including page views, device type and approximate location. We do not send your entered URL, logo, QR images, form values or local storage contents to analytics.

There are no ads or third-party tracking cookies. The website host may process standard request information, such as your IP address, to serve the page. Read Vercel's Web Analytics privacy information for details about its analytics service.

Downloads and external links

Downloaded PNG and SVG files are saved wherever your browser puts downloads. Clearing a saved code in LinkIntoQR does not delete files from your device. If you choose to support the site through Buy Me a Coffee, that service handles the visit and any donation under its own privacy terms.
